Frequently Asked Questions

Are your products Kosher certified? If so, who are they certified by?

Yes. Our products are Star – K Kosher certified. All forms (whole, diced, paste and butter) are certified kosher. All kosher products are pareve (prepared without meat or milk). 

Who do I contact if I would like to request a sample?

Please contact your sales representative. If you do not have one, please call 914-683-1119 ext. 3 to speak with a member from our sales team. 

Are your products gluten free?

All of our products are available as gluten-free. Our raw and roasted nuts, whole dried fruits, and seeds do not contain gluten. Our diced fruits with no coating agents and with rice flour and dextrose do not contain gluten. Customers who would like gluten-free oat flour should request this at the time of purchase. We are working towards a formal Certified GLute Free certification for our full product line. In the meantime, we provide allergen/gluten statements on COA’s. 

Do you ship products overseas?

Yes. We service markets in both North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. 

Are your products/ facility peanut-free?

We work with peanut and tree nut free facilities for specific products. Please specify your allergen requirements at the time you place your order and we will ensure to accommodate them. 

Where do your products come from?

Our products come from all over the world. We have built relationships with growers throughout the years to determine the best and highest quality ingredients for our customers. If you have specific questions regarding a products origin, please contact us directly. 

What if there is a product I am interested in that is not listed on your website?

Often times, we can find a supplier if there is a product or specification you are looking for. Please contact one of our sales team members to further discuss our capabilities. 

Are your products only sold in bulk?

Yes. We supply wholesalers. We have different packing options available to accommodate different specialties. 

Are all of your products organic?

We sell both Organic and Conventional products. For a full list of organic products, please contact one of our sales representatives. 

What is dry roasting?

Dry roasting is a process where heat is applied without the use of any oil or water. Dry roasting is often the “healthier” option when it comes to roasting as oil-roasting are often higher in calories, fat and saturated fat. 

Orders and Returns

How do I place an Order?

You can place an order by creating an account via our website. If you are already an approved customer, you will be able to login and place an order. If you have not been approved, please contact us directly and we will begin credit application. If you would like to place an order with one of our sales members directly, please call 914-683-1119. 

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes, you will need an account to place an order. Pre-approved customers will be able to register for an account, receive username and password information and then login to place an order. If you are a new customer, you will need to be approved before receiving user access to place an order. 

Who should I contact if I have any queries?

If you have any questions regarding your order, please contact your sales representative. If you do not know who your sales representative is, please email orders@bedemco.com and someone will get back to you shortly. 

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?

To cancel or change an order, please contact our order department at orders@bedemco.com. Please note that there may be additional fees to change or cancel an order. 

How Do I Track My Order?

For tracking information regarding your order, please contact our logistics department at logistics@bedemco.com. 

How Can I Return a Product?

Please note that all sales are final. Any package / product damage or short-shipment MUST be noted on the bill of lading and/or proof of delivery upon receipt / pickup of goods. Damage or short shipment claims will not be accepted without proper notation. Any claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods.Â
